The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been awarded E3 2016’s Best of Show by the coveted Game Critics Awards.

The upcoming Wii U/Nintendo NX adventure also walked away with two further awards, including Best Console Game and Best Action/Adventure Game, with Best Original Game going to Horizon: Zero Dawn and Best VR Game going to Batman: Arkham VR.

Previous titles to win Best of Show include Evolve, Titanfall and Fallout 4.

Zelda was the only game to win more than one award, however, with Forza Horizon 3 picking up the award for Best Racing Game, Battlefield 1 winning Best Action Game, and Final Fantasy XV being awarded Best Role Playing Game. Injustice 2, Steep, Civilization VI, Titanfall 2, Skylanders: Imaginators, Inside, and PlayStation VR all won awards too, with a Special Commendation for Graphics going to God of War.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is due to release simultaneously on Wii U and Nintendo NX in 2017.
