The 2019 Overwatch League Grand Finals are quickly approaching. The top two teams in the world are set to battle it out for the championship - Vancouver Titans and the San Francisco Shock. The match-up promises to deliver on all of the pulse-pounding Overwatch that fans could ask for. With the culmination of an incredible 2019 season for the Overwatch League, the biggest moment needs great entertainment. Luckily, Zedd and Questlove will be headlining the Grand Finals to give fans a show that they will never forget.

Zedd is a great choice for headlining the 2019 Overwatch League Grand Finals. The popular DJ has risen to fame over the past few years and will likely bring the right energy to the Overwatch League. EDM-based music fits well with the game and fans at the arena should be excited to see his performance.

One of his first big songs was “Clarity” featuring Foxes. The song put Zedd on the map, reaching eight on the Billboard Top 200 and earning him a Grammy. Since then, Zedd has teamed up with extremely popular artists, including Hayley Williams, Selena Gomez, Alessia Cara, and Ariana Grande.

Along with the half-time performance from Zedd, legendary artist Questlove will be performing in between the action during the Grand Finals. Questlove is a Grammy-winning musician and member of the legendary hip-hop group, The Roots. The offsetting styles of both Zedd and Questlove should provide for a varied entertainment experience.

With the entertainers this year, it seems like the league is looking to improve upon its halftime performance at last year’s Grand Finals when DJ Khaled performed. The DJ Khaled performance became iconic in the Overwatch League - and not necessarily for the right reasons. The famous music producer isn’t really known for performing during songs, so the result was an awkward dance show. It’s delightfully hard to watch and ultimately hilarious.

The Overwatch League Grand Finals will take place on Sunday, September 29th at 3:00 pm EST. Don’t miss out on the culmination of the 2019 season.
