Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available to preload from Friday, October 19 at 12.00 EST, developer Rockstar Games has announced.
Probably just as well, as the highly anticipated westerner is a bit of a whopper; it weighs in at around 90GB on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so the ability to preload is a bit of a relief. That way, you can kick things off on release day without a hitch. Hopefully.
Interestingly, reports from Japan have suggested that Red Dead Redemption 2 will ship on two discs. Nothing official has been confirmed yet, however.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be galloping into stores on October 26 for PS4 and Xbox One. Here’s a few quick facts: It’ll take over 60 hours to complete, has over 50 unique weapons, and more than 200 species of animals. There’s also a Collector’s Box that doesn’t include the game, if you’re into that sort of thing.
So according to my Google Japanese Red Dead Redemption 2 will be on 2 discs https://t.co/6sYOtDIjlr

Rockstar will follow the launch of the game with a dedicated online component, Red Dead Online, in November.
