Vin Diesel sequel xXx: The Return of Xander Cage will open in cinemas on January 20, 2017, Paramount has announced.
Having skipped the first sequel, Ice Cube’s xXx: State of the Union, Diesel returns to the franchise he began back in 2002. D.J. Caruso is directing.
In the third film Cage exits self-imposed exile to prevent a weapon known as Pandora’s Box from being used for no good.
Deepika Padukone will play the female lead, with Donnie Yen and Samuel L. Jackson also confirmed.
