Microsoft hasn’t given up on Xbox One in Japan just yet, having launched a new Xbox Japan Blog designed to promote Japan-specific Xbox information.

However, the blog currently only features items discussing Halo 5, Forza 6 and Rare Replay.

Xbox popularity in Japan is at an all-time low, with the Xbox One shifting only hundreds of units each week. In the week ended June 14, only 100 Xbox One consoles were sold.

Life to date sales for the console stand at only 52,644 units in the region.

It seems unlikely a new blog will change the situation, but maybe it’s part of a grander plan from Microsoft.
