With the Xbox One S 2TB Launch Edition system having sold out at many UK retailers, desperate UK gamers are turning to eBay to secure the new console and are willing to pay a hefty premium.
A look back over completed sales since the console launched reveals high sale prices of £550, a whopping £200 extra over the highstreet price for the system.
However, there remains some traders listing the One S for more reasonable money, suggesting those sellers seeking more than £700 are probably being a little optimistic. Still, should stock not be replenished prices could continue to rise.
UK release dates for the cheaper 500GB and 1TB One S consoles have yet to be confirmed, though the systems launch August 23 in the US.
