An “upcoming change” to Xbox 360 backwards compatibility on Xbox One means that players currently testing the service will need to uninstall and reinstall a range of games in order to continue playing.

The change affects 8 games in total, including Viva Pinata, Perfect Dark and Banjo-Kazooie, although Microsoft assures fans that uninstalling each game will not affect saves.

  • Viva Piñata
  • Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise
  • Perfect Dark
  • Perfect Dark Zero
  • Kameo: Elements of Power
  • Jetpac Refuelled
  • Banjo-Kazooie
  • Banjo-Tooie

Xbox 360 backwards compatibility is currently available to players enrolled in the Xbox One Preview Program with a full launch due to roll out this autumn.
