UPDATE 15:20: Xbox Live now seems to be back up and running. A reason for the service’s downtime remains unclear.
ORIGINAL STORY: Microsoft is investigating an issue preventing Xbox One and Xbox 360 users from signing in to Xbox Live.
The service went down earlier today, leaving users unable to sign in to their Xbox Live profiles or view their account settings.
“We’re aware of the issue and working on getting it fixed ASAP!”, Microsoft wrote on its support page. “Thanks for your patience while we get things back to normal. We’ll post another update as soon as we have more information.”
It isn’t yet clear what has caused the service to go offline or when the problem will be resolved.
