Microsoft announces that several high profile indie games will be coming to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Some games, such as city builder Cities: Skylines, had been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass for PC in September 2019, but there are several new reveals too.
A new video posted to the official Xbox YouTube channel confirms that Xbox Game Pass subscribers have 13 new games to look forward to. Among them are Banjo-Kazooie style game Yooka-Laylee, cosmic point and click adventure game Genesis Noir, and prison RPG The Escapists 2. There are also two downhill biking games, Descenders, and Lonely Mountains Downhill, though the good thing about Xbox Game Pass is that subscribers will be able to play the two titles and see which one they like best without paying more to do so.
As well as these games, there are first-person puzzle game The Talos Principle and narrative cyberpunk adventure game, The Red Strings Club. Asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight is coming to Xbox Game Pass too, which is good timing as the game has just added Stranger Things DLC.

However, Microsoft didn’t say when each of these games would be added to Xbox Game Pass. The company only said that these games will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers in autumn 2019, so they could be added to the service between now and December 22, 2019. Some of the games, such as The Red Strings Club, have only been confirmed for the PC version of the service too, and it’s unclear if or when they may be added to the Xbox One version of Xbox Game Pass.
