Developer Rebellion has announced that undead shooter Zombie Army 4: Dead War will recieve a new-gen upgrade patch this week, bringing a raft of free improvements to the game when played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Although Netflix’s The Witcher got relatively little in the way of criticism, especially as far as winning over fans of the same franchise from a different medium goes, some things stuck out like a sore thumb. Wolfenstein: The New Order was a pleasant surprise to me, managing to have good shooting (without being a cover shooter), solid but inessential stealth, and a solidly told story. Developer Wargaming has rolled out the meatiest update yet for its military-themed combat outing World of Tanks, with version 1.0 offering a treasure trove of additions and fixes for popular title. The main highlight here is a brand new graphics engine, Core, which replaces the antiquated BigWorld tech that had been powering World of Tanks since its inception in 2010. This has allowed Wargaming to completely revamp 29 of the game’s maps using the Core engine, so they now feature ‘greater depth, beauty, and realism....
