WWE 2K22 is finally here. The saga began with the “botchfest” that was WWE 2K20. That led to the cancellation of the next game in the series. It was subsequently replaced by WWE 2K Battlegrounds, a rather mundane arcade offering. There’s a lot of trepidation considering past events. Thankfully, Visual Concepts has managed to craft an engaging experience. It might not be perfect, but WWE 2K22 is a step in the right direction....

Microsoft is rolling out an updated version of its Xbox App for PC that includes an at-a-glance indication of whether your machine will likely be able to run a game before you download it. The feature, which should be particularly useful to Game Pass subscribers reckoning with the service’s sizeable library of titles, is being referred to as the Game Performance Fit Indicator. Essentially, each time you look at a game via the Xbox App, you’ll see a short message offering a prediction of how well Microsoft expects it to run on your machine, generated by comparing a title’s performance on PCs with similar specs to yours....

Xbox has announced the last few additions coming to Xbox Game Pass for December—and indeed, 2021—in the two remaining weeks of the year. We start off with social deduction game Among Us, added to the Cloud from tomorrow. Nintendo presented a deep dive into the imminent JRPG epic Xenoblade Chronicles in today’s focussed Direct presentation, revealing an expansion pass that unlocks helpful items and outfits upon the game’s release next month and that will provide access to a new story scenario that’s set to launch before the end of 2023. There was plenty more shown off, with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 thankfully dialling back some of the anime excesses of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - there was not a single improbably proportioned sidekick to be seen - while restoring some of the scale and wonder of Xenoblade Chronicles X....

This theory was based on the similarities between various Sonic 3 tracks and Michael Jackson’s songs. Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks has done a bit of digging and is saying that a cowboy-filled limited time mode is coming to Fortnite, as reported by PCGamesN. The data miners state that this LTM limits players to dynamite, hunting rifles, and shotguns; all automatic weapons, traps and rocket launchers are gonezo. As well as that, shields will be outlawed (like cowboys, y’see?), and slurp juice will be the only way to replenish your health....

With World of Warcraft celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, Blizzard has put together an exciting raid to commemorate the special occasion. The event will run from November 15th through November 30th and every player that logs in will receive an XP boost tabard, a 15th Anniversary Achievement, and a Lil’ Nefarian battle pet. Additionally, World of Warcraft players will get the opportunity to acquire a brand new mount inspired by Deathwing called the Obsidian Worldbreaker....
