Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem’s developers are hard at work fixing the game after an incredible wave of support at launch. For a small indie team, it can be incredibly challenging to perfectly polish a big game like Wolcen. That’s all the more difficult when the game has a major multiplayer component, and nearly impossible when the game receives orders of magnitude more players at launch than expected. Yet Wolcen Studio is rapidly addressing issues and bugs, most recently focusing on a variety of in-game exploits....

As players level through World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, they will get to know each of the four Covenants who rule over the realm of the dead. Players will eventually select a Covenant to align with, and they will be rewarded with special Covenant abilities....

Xbox Games Pass for PC is about to bolster its ranks, as today’s Inside Xbox stream revealed four more games. However, Microsoft noted that these games are not available yet, but they will be “in the coming weeks.” Coming to Xbox Games Pass is Saints Row IV: Re-Elected. In the game, you starred as Saints gang leader and now president of the United States (alright, go on). As the elected leader of the free world, you gain super powers and fight aliens and zombies, all the while enjoying the occasional shootout in the streets, as you are wont to do....

The official Xbox Facebook page has just clarified what we all pretty much knew in our hearts all along. The button that looks like and is shaped like an X is, in fact, called the “X button,” and not “cross,” or some other word that can technically describe two perpendicular lines, but most definitely does not describe a button on a video game controller that we’ve known for most of our lives....

Microsoft has confirmed that its April Xbox One update has started rolling off production lines today, and comes packed to the rafters with a bunch of key features for Phil Spencer and co’s beloved black box. One of the biggest showstoppers for the update is the inclusion of 1440p support for video playback and games on Xbox One X and Xbox One S, which offers a significant boost over 1080p. Furthermore, it now allows developers working on Microsoft’s 4K-powered behemoth to render games at native 1440p....

Square Enix is rolling back on recent balance changes to PvP in Final Fantasy 14. Previous patch 6.11a included numerous balance adjustments, particularly to the black mage job, in addition to removing the automatic inactive log out. However, following negative feedback from fans, producer and director Naoki Yoshida has admitted the team got the adjustments wrong. “We have received a great deal of feedback regarding these changes, and in hindsight, I believe we went too far with our adjustments,” said Yoshida in a new Lodestone post....

We all know what the Rock is cooking nowadays. One of the biggest stars in Hollywood, the former WWE champion is one of the best in the business, starring in hit after hit at the box office. Now we’ll get a chance to see what Dwayne Johnson can cook up on television. NBC has given a straight-to-series order to Young Rock, a comedy starring Johnson that will chronicle Johnson’s younger days before he became a wrestling superstar....

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel on PC Yu-Gu-Oh! Master Duel is another free-to-play entry in the long-running card-battling franchise, and while it may be a bit barebones at the moment, the game still provides just enough engaging core features to keep you building decks and battling friends, the AI, or other players for hours on end. The last gacha-style game in the series was Duel Links, which launched back in 2016. Master Duel is here to shake up the Duel Links formula by removing the quick Speed Duel format and bringing back some more standard TCG rules that most fans are familiar with....

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will only have one difficulty level. As with Team Ninja’s previous Nioh games, Wo Long is a Soulslike game that thrives on challenge. Many players subsequently feel the games are too difficult and inaccessible. Speaking to MP1st, producer Masaaki Yamagiwa defended Team Ninja’s decision to stick with one difficulty. Bethesda has returned with another gameplay trailer for its upcoming Nazi-slaying shooter, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and things are really beginning to kick off in the American Revolution. A certain group has pushed a populace a little too far this time. The Nazis have taken over America, people either fall in line with what the Fuhrer says, or they disappear. They’ve turned Manhattan into a wasteland, New Orleans is walled off and being destroyed with fire and bullets, and the rest of the Nazis are walking the streets of small-town USA like they own it....

Update: A fix has been deployed! See here. At the end of 2019, the PvP for season three of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth just kind of… stopped, and it turns out a glitch is to blame. The arenas and rated battlegrounds ended without warning on December 31, leaving players complaining in the official forums asking whether the closure of season three was intentional and wondering what happened. Eventually, community manager Kaivax posted to the forum and acknowledged that it was not intentional, and was in fact the result of an unknown glitch that unexpectedly ended Season three....
