World of Tanks for Xbox One will open its doors to all players this weekend for a beta event, Wargaming has announced. The game will be downloadable from tomorrow, with access open on Saturday and Sunday. All players taking part in the beta will receive special bonuses, including the Premium American Tier 3 M22 Locust light tank for logging into the game. If you already own the tank you’ll instead receive 180,000 in silver, as well as one garage slot....

The release of World of Warcraft Classic is officially less than a month away and players who have been begging for the vanilla WoW experience are finally about to get their wish. Along with the increased requirements for each level, old skill trees, and the inevitable gold grind mounts; players also have to take racial abilities and perks into consideration. Over the years, racial abilities have been basically nerfed out of relevance, but in vanilla WoW some classes were definitely better when paired with the right race....

Of all the classes in World of Warcraft: Classic, two are limited by faction. This was a rather big deal in the game upon first release, as the options weren’t even visible in the opposite faction. Many Horde players initally found themselves confused when they encountered a player who appeared to be a Warrior suddenly casting all manner of light spells and fighting with a two-handed weapon. They had encountered a Paladin: the Alliance exclusive class with incredible versatility and self-sustainability....

WWE 2K20 is due out next month, and to build hype leading up to the game’s release, 2K Sports has been releasing entrance videos of various superstars. Previously, it released the Samoa Joe entrance video, and now it has given fans their first look at the entrance video for WWE legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. As to be expected, Austin retains his signature mannerisms, gear, and music for his entrance in WWE 2K20....

He’s back … brother. Nearly three years after WWE scrubbed Hulk Hogan from its record, including suspending him from the Hall of Fame and firing him from his contract, WWE reinstated Hogan on Sunday prior to the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. WWE announced the move on Twitter, noting that Hogan was reinstated into the Hall of Fame. Later in the evening, WWE told several media outlets that Hogan had not been signed to a contract, but the announcement seems to pave the way for Hogan’s eventual return to WWE television....

Microsoft has revealed the small lineup of Games With Gold titles that Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can claim throughout November. The list only contains two games for the month as the company announced last July that it would be no longer including Xbox 360 titles in the program starting on Oct. 1, citing that it had “reached the limit of our ability to bring Xbox 360 games to the catalog....

Xbox has told developers that the Xbox Series X Smart Delivery upgrades for their games should be free, according to a report (via VGC). Smart Delivery means that if you buy Vampire: The Masquerade—Bloodlines 2 for your Xbox One, you’ll also be entitled to Vampire: The Masquerade—Bloodlines 2 for your Xbox Series X. Phil Spencer had previously stated that this would be an “opt-in” system, where publishers and developers would choose whether they wanted to release their new versions in this manner....

Death Stranding has quite easily become one of the most polarizing video games of 2019, if not in the history of the industry. People seem split on whether the game is yet another Hideo Kojima masterpiece, or if it is a boring slog, and the review scores reflect that division. Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel, mostly known for his Overwatch streams, recently completed a playthrough of Death Stranding on Twitch, and he had some blunt words for reviewers who gave the game low scores....
