WWE 2K20 wasn’t in a good spot when it originally released back in October. Since then, it’s had several patches and the latest one even included a feature to create your custom championship. Microsoft has confirmed that three more games will be winging their way to Xbox Game Pass. Well, technically, one is already available as of yesterday, with the other two arriving next week. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella revealed during a 2019 Q1 earnings call (via Game Informer) overnight that the format holder is bringing Xbox Game Pass to PC. No further details were revealed during the call, so we’re not sure exactly when Microsoft plans on moving forward with these plans. Still, it’s definitely a major step forward. Xbox Game Pass features over 100 titles for a monthly subscription, and Microsoft has pledged that all first-party titles will arrive on the service on launch day....

Ever since Microsoft purchased Rare in the early 2000s, many of the studio’s most popular IPs have been neglected. This includes the 3D platformer series Banjo-Kazooie, which hasn’t had a proper entry since 2000’s Banjo-Tooie. Former Rare developers took note of the fan demand for a new Banjo-Kazooie, and set to work on a spiritual successor called Yooka-Laylee, which smashed Kickstarter records. The final product was met with mixed reviews, but the studio has moved forward with the series regardless with Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair....
As part of what feels like a big new push to drive content creators to its platform, YouTube has revealed a surprising initiative designed to allow its content creators to earn money from their videos even when they featured licensed music — so long as it features on a list called ‘Creator Music.’ A report from Billboard explains that YouTube has been in talks with over 50 record labels, publishers, and distributors to curate an extensive list of music that numbers ‘Several hundred thousand’ songs....

Earlier this week, Jagex announced that RuneScape Mobile is now available to the public in the form of an Early Access title. Of course, this came with a few caveats—the game is only available on Android devices and only to players who have a monthly subscription. We have some good news for all you Wolfenstein fans. In a recent interview with Metro, Bethesda’s own vice president and PR head honcho Pete Hines confirms that Wolfenstein III is “absolutely” in the plan. This should come as a small relief for some. While Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was received well by critics (earning a respectable 8/10 from us), we couldn’t ignore reports of the game underselling. According to Hines, the reports may have been blown out of proportion....

Rumours online seem to be indicating that Activision Blizzard will be gearing up to announce World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic at Blizzcon this weekend. The speculation stems from website WoWHead who claim to have picked up a leaked press kit (spotted by Eurogamer) ahead of this week’s ceremony that reveals the popular MMO’s Classic build will be heading towards the first expansion, originally released in 2007. The expansion introduced the Blood Elves for the Horde and Draenei for the Alliance for the first time, as well as several new areas based around the region of Outland....
The “greatest wrestling match ever,” which WWE billed as Backlash‘s main event between Randy Orton and Edge, ended the way most people expected. Orton cheated, hitting Edge with a low-blow and then punting him in the head — hardly a wrestling move — to pick up the win in about 45 minutes. But that doesn’t mean the match was poorly done. In fact, quite the opposite. Given the limitations Edge has due to his age and injury history, and the fact that Orton has been the king of the three-star, just-good-enough-but-never-great match, the match at Backlash delivered in a way that both men should be very proud....
