Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn have released the launch trailer for WRC 7, showcasing the different environments and vehicles that feature in the upcoming rally-driving game ahead of its September 26 release. In WRC 7, players get the chance to take the (digital) wheel of all the vehicles featured in the 2017 World Rally Championship, and drive through 13 different countries and 52 Special Stages. Players will get to race across a wide-variety of road surfaces, braving a range of differing weather conditions as they aim to take the number one position at the head of the rallying elite....

Mick Foley was brought in last night to announce WWE’s new 24/7 Championship. Remember the old Hardcore title in the late-90’s? Microsoft is now testing a new Xbox One feature called “Surprise Me.” The feature is just one software or service update that Microsoft is preparing to release to gamers, as an update to Xbox Game Pass that will offer free Discord Nitro may also be on the way. In a post on Reedit, user Filthy_Firestarter shared a screenshot of their new look Xbox One dashboard. When going to the “Games” section of the Dashboard, the user spotted a new icon next to the icons for search and filter....

Playdate’s Pulp, a creation tool allowing you to make your own games for the upcoming handheld with a crank, is now available in open beta. The software, which is free to use, allows players to create and test games in a web browser before exporting them to use on a Playdate when it launches later this year. If you’re familiar with game making tools, it’s similar to (and inspired by) Bitsy, allowing you to make room-based games without any programming knowledge, and comes complete with a pixel graphics editor, animation tools, a sound sequencer and the ability to create your own fonts....

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is a game that has stuck with me for a long time. I’ve never entirely known why. Microsoft is ready to share more information about its plans for Xbox Game Pass in March. Today’s wave of new games features four titles for Xbox One and five for PC. They’ll all be rolling out to Xbox Game Pass subscribers soon, with console titles confirmed for release between March 5 and March 13 and PC titles still waiting for their final release dates. For console, basketball fans will be excited to hear that NBA 2K20 is headlining the Xbox One Game Pass releases for early March....

YouTube Rewind 2018 is the most-disliked YouTube video ever made, beating a record that was previously held by Justin Bieber’s “Baby” music video for almost a decade. YouTube has acknowledged that fans weren’t happy about YouTube Rewind 2018, and so it has attempted to make things up to them with the YouTube Rewind 2019 video, showcasing the most-viewed YouTube channels and videos. While this is clearly an attempt by YouTube for YouTube Rewind 2019 to be as objective as possible, it has already been met with some rather severe backlash of its own....

A Zoo Tycoon board game is in development. Slated to release next year, the 2-4 player game tasks participants in building “the most successful zoo” in a new strategic and thematic board game that features over 34 species, “most of them represented by 230 beautiful animal meeples”. With a Kickstarter launching later this month, the creator says “each game you play will be different, delivering high replay value thanks to a novel game mechanism”....

CD Projekt Red has released a hotfix for the Witcher 3 Next Gen Update on PC – which looks to address a number of issues faced by gamers on the platform. The Hotfix improves ‘overall stability and performance of the game, and fixes GOG & Steam overlays,’ say the developers in their blog. The game version won’t change. The next-gen update has also been released for the Origin version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, meaning the game version is 4....

World of Tanks hosted an incredible ‘Tank Day’ here at the Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum in Oshawa, Ontario Canada. Over 1000 people attended to come to see one of the biggest collection of tanks in the world (most which are operational) and, of course, a live-action simulated tank battle straight out of the game. Families and fans of all ages lined up to witness this event that took place during their famous ‘Tank Saturdays’....
