The Witcher 3 director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, has resigned from CD Projekt Red after more than 10 years with the developer. According to a Bloomberg report, the studio recently launched a thorough investigation into workplace bullying allegations made against Tomaszkiewicz. The investigation reportedly found Tomaszkiewicz not guilty, but he chose to leave CD Projekt Red anyway. The new Xbox project currently in the works at Microsoft will reportedly ship in two models at some point in 2020, reports Thurrott. According to the website, the new system, which is reportedly codenamed Scarlett, will arrive in a traditional hardware model capable of playing games in the usual manner, although right now it’s unknown just how much horsepower it will be packing under the hood. Interestingly, Microsoft is also planning on releasing a cloud-based variation as a cheaper option for consumers....

YouTube Gaming has just won a massive victory in the streaming wars. In a statement, Activision Blizzard and Google announced that they had secured an agreement for the exclusive streaming rights to the Overwatch, Call of Duty and Hearthstone eSports Leagues. In the press release, Google and Activision Blizzard described their contract as a “multi-year strategic relationship.” Outside of the YouTube Gaming exclusivity deal, Activision Blizzard would also transfer their game hosting services to Google Cloud....

Wargaming, the developer and publisher of the hit free-to-play game World of Tanks, has announced today that it has signed a deal with Brink and Dirty Bomb developer Splash Damage to develop new gaming experiences set within the Wargaming universe.
