Back when WWE 2K20 was first announced, it was confirmed that the upcoming wrestling game would feature a brand new feature called WWE Originals. Now more details are available for the first WWE Originals pack, which is called Bump in the Night and features horror-themed versions of WWE superstars, as well as an appearance by Bray Wyatt’s latest in-ring persona “The Fiend.” To get their hands on the Bump in the Night DLC, WWE 2K20 players can pre-order the game, pick up the Deluxe/Collector’s Editions, or purchase the DLC separately for $15....

The launch of the new consoles is apparently pencilled in for November, with the XSX launching in the first week of the month and the PS5 following behind in mid-November. This comes from a report from Video Games Chronicle, but we’ll need a pinch of salt with this. Nothing regarding the launch windows of either console has been officially pinned down by either Microsoft or Sony, so we should still consider this information to be up in the air....

Nintendo has announced that it will publish the definitive edition of Yo-kai Watch 2 in Europe later this year. Originally released in Japan in 2014, Yo-kai Watch 2 is the sequel to the popular open world RPG Yo-kai Watch, which was itself released in Europe last year. Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters sees a group of sinister Yo-kai spirits arrive in Springdale, determined to steal the Yo-kai Watch and bring havoc to the town and its residents....

The Wii U will be pushed to its limit with The Legend of Zelda’s vast open world, series producer Eiji Aonuma has told Gamereactor Magazine. “A huge, seamlessly unfolding world is something that can’t be achieved if the hardware isn’t advanced enough,” Aonuma said. “Ever since we made the very first generation of Legend of Zelda games though, we’ve had as large a world as can be realised with the hardware, so you could say it was inevitable that we’ve now done the same with the new Wii U title....

Nintendo has finally given a name to its sequel to The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Indeed, the game is now officially known as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The announcement came at the end of the September 2022 Nintendo Direct, finally giving fans an idea of when we can next expect the next epic Zelda adventure. It’s been an eventful few weeks for Blizzard Entertainment, which has recently come under fire for the controversy that resulted following a post match Hearthstone interview where the Grandmaster Champion Ng Wai ‘Blitz’Chung was banned over his Pro-Hong Kong sentiments. It isn’t the first time Blizzard has come under fire from fans, as one of the more memorable incidents came almost one year ago at BlizzCon 2018, and many still remember that exact debacle surrounding the Diablo franchise....

Perhaps the best thing about Skyrim is how well supported it has been by the modding community. The game regularly sees DLC-sized additions thanks to the hard work of modders, something not many other games benefit from. Now, a new Witcher 3-inspired mod is adding a Solstheim-sized new land to the game. Dubbed Land of Vominheim, the mod is available for both the original Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition. According to the mod’s creator, VenjHammet, the new land is roughly the size of Solstheim, the island added in Skyrim’s final DLC, Dragonborn....

Sh’’s finally back. Following a 19-year absence from the world of video games, 2K has finally shown a clip of legendary superstar Chyna’s entrance in the upcoming game, WWE 2K20. One of the founding members of the iconic wrestling stable D-Generation X and a former women’s champion, Chyna’s last appearance in a WWE video game came all the way back in 2000 when she featured in WWF SmackDown! The flight simulation world has been enamored with Microsoft Flight Simulator for nearly a month now. But, let’s not forget that there are other flight sims out there. Laminar Research’s X-Plane 11 just swooped in with a new update, bringing the game version up to 11.50. This update ditches the sim’s reliance on OpenGL in favor of promising support for the modern rendering APIs, Vulkan (and Metal for Mac). In layman’s terms, X-Plane 11 is set to behave a bit better with your machine thanks to this Vulcan update....

Microsoft has named its two Xbox Games with Gold titles for February as roguelike RPG For the King and soccer beat ’em up Guts N Goals. As usual, this latest duo will be offered for four weeks apiece over the next month, with For the King available to claim from 1st to 28th February, and Guts N Goals available from 16th February to 15th March. The pair will replace January’s current Games with Gold offerings: Iris Fall (available until tomorrow) and Autonauts (available until 15th February)....

Last weekend, Microsoft gave an early Valentine’s Day gift to its fans in the form of three Xbox Game Pass titles being made free to play for all Xbox Live Gold subscribers for a limited time. The new Xbox One S features a faster GPU over the original Xbox One console, Digital Foundry has discovered, resulting in improved performance on certain games. Games like Project CARS and Hitman can both hand in higher frame rates on the new console, the outlet reports, while Rise of the Tomb Raider and Batman: Arkham Knight both suffer from less tearing. That’s due to the console’s GPU being overclocked from 853MHz to 914MHz in the Xbox One S, resulting in improved compute performance (up from 1....

When Microsoft first unveiled the Xbox Series X, gamers had a lot of questions about the next-gen console’s power, capabilities, and games. But there were also concerns about the console’s design, which looked to trade the traditional horizontal orientation for a more, PC-like vertical setup. Toshihiro Nagoshi and Daisuke Sato have formally revealed their new studio at NetEase Games as Nagoshi Studio. As his name is above the door, the former Yakuza series creator is taking the role of President and CEO. Sato joins him as a Producer at the new team, but they’re not the only Yakuza series veterans on hand. In fact, all nine of the company’s founding staff appear to have had ties to the series at one point or another....

Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 4 has arrived, and has been dubbed by Epic Games as ‘Paradise.’ An array of new content has joined the island including Chrome, which is spreading around the map, a shake-up to the loot pool, a new battle pass, and more. Some aspects of the game have stayed the same from previous seasons, including wolves and boars which have stuck around for another season. Now, you can pet wolves and boars in Fortnite when you tame them....
