One of Wolfenstein: The New Order’s key voice actresses has strongly suggested that a sequel to the 2014 shooter could be in development. As reported by Eurogamer, Polish actress Alicja Bachleda-Curus, who played Anya Oliwa in last year’s shooter, is reported to have told TV station TVN that she is working on a “second one”, adding that the unannounced title will “take two more years” to complete. “I’m working on a video game, first part of which I have already made,” she is reported to have said....

Xbox has announced that it’ll once more hold a joint Xbox and Bethesda Showcase this summer, on June 12. YouTube has launched 60fps live streaming, allowing users to broadcast live gameplay footage at a higher frame rate. The technology lets streamers broadcast gameplay at 720p60 and 1080p60, and has been integrated directly into the Elgato Game Capture HD60 via a new software update released today. You’ll need to be using an HTML5-compatible browser like Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari to view a stream at 60fps, though, or you’ll be restricted to 30fps....

NCSoft and Carbine have finally bitten the bullet and are moving Wildstar over to a free to play model. The latest game to move from a subscription model is the MMO Wildstar, and I’m a little surprised it’s taken this long. The game never really took off when it launched and the writing was on the wall from day one. Windows 10 users have been experiencing poor gaming performance due to faulty updates for many months now and Microsoft has finally rolled out an update that should implement several fixes. This optional Windows 10 update addresses low framerate, stuttering, and reduced performance issues for PC gamers. The KB5004296 cumulative update includes several fixes for a variety of issues, including those related to the operating system’s gaming issues. According to Microsoft’s changelog, the main issue was caused by Game Mode and power plans not working together properly after March’s update....

Xbox One sales in the UK were up a staggering 989 per cent in the UK following the release of the Xbox One S 500GB and 1TB models, reports MCV. So great was the sales increase that Xbox One actually recorded a 71 per cent share of the console market last week, ending September 24. During the latest Nintendo Direct, the company revealed that the second vol. of DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will arrive on October 13. The latest batch of paid content gives players a new hero to fight alongside Ino, a robotic girl.
