Originally developed by Ubisoft, the game looked the part when it released, there was nothing around quite like it. It was thanks to its visual stylings the game became a bit of a cult classic. Revealed on the PlayStation Blog this evening, soldier Thirteen will be back with his lost memory and still accused of assassinating the President....

Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek is the latest streamer to announce a move from Twitch to Mixer, and the second big name to be picked up by Microsoft following their signing of Tyler “Ninja” Blevins on August 1 of this year. The move may have surprised some of his viewers, but there are many reasons why it was likely a great transition for Shroud. For starters, there is a connection between the two streamers that certainly helped streamline the process, and that is that both Shroud and Ninja are represented by Loaded, a management company founded by Bandon Freytag....

Multiplayer shooter Worms Rumble will be making its way to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch later this year, developer Team 17 has confirmed. The game originally launched for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC at the tail end of last year, and trades out the turn-based combat of previous entries for a real-time arena based combat, wit a wealth of returning and new weapons, tools and all the explosive mayhem the series has been known for....

WWE 2K20 hasn’t been in a good spot from the moment it launched, to the time it crashed because it’s the year 2020, and even after a slew of DLC add-ons that didn’t really add anything meaningful (barring The Fiend). 2K Games and Visual Concepts released a new trailer about the upcoming wrestling game WWE 2K22. The trailer introduces four wrestlers from the RAW brand, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, Damian Priest, and The Miz. You can check the video out below. Microsoft has detailed the line-up of Xbox titles it’s bringing to Gamescom in a couple of weeks, including Obsidian exclusive Pentiment, Age of Empires 4, Flight Sim and Grounded. As a reminder, Microsoft is one of the few companies committed to Gamescom this year - and the only platform holder. Both Sony and Nintendo are sitting out the show’s big in-person return, alongside Activision Blizzard and Take-Two. Ubisoft, Bandai Namco and Embracer are among those also in attendance, though Assassin’s Creed fans are expecting all of Ubisoft’s big reveals to actually take place online, via a special event due in September....

Despite its colourful visuals and family-friendly vibes making it seem well suited to them, Yooka-Laylee hasn’t had much luck getting onto a Nintendo console so far. That’s about to change, as Playtonic has announced the game is set to finally land on the Nintendo Switch next month. Marking the announcement with a new trailer, the Kickstarter-backed platformer’s Switch release will contain all the updates to the other console versions from the past seven months, as well as Switch-specific features such as a custom achievement system and the ability to play all eight multiplayer games with a single JoyCon....

[Update – June 7 @ 1:45 PM ET]: Following the report on Friday, Balan Wonderworld creator Yuji Naka confirmed he did indeed leave Square Enix at the end of April. In the message posted to Twitter, Naka wrote that he couldn’t reveal the reason behind his departure. As for what’s next, Naka wrote (translated): “As for future activities, I’m 55 years old, so I may retire.” It is safe to say that Balan Wonderworld failed to impress the general gaming public upon release....
