Riot Games sure is taking its time with Valorant Mobile, the spin-off title which was officially announced over a year ago but of which precious little has been said ever since. NIS America has confirmed that it’s regrettably delayed the Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana PC release date yet again. In a press release the company revealed that a number of ongoing issues with the RPG forced its hand, and we don’t currently know when it’ll see the light of day. Chiefly, the frame rate on the PC build is still experiencing some noticeable hiccups, while there’s also some memory leaks causing issues, albeit on a much lesser scale than the aforementioned frame rate problems....

Another title revealed during the Xbox show at gamescom 2021 was Into the Pit. This fast-paced roguelike gives off a strong Doom feel. But instead of big weapons, there’s a whole lot of magic being thrown around. The Wii U was “disappointing to everybody”, including Nintendo, according to GameStop’s CEO Paul Raines. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for the Switch has an extra epilogue, and it will apparently take 10 to 12 hours to complete (via Gematsu). This tidbit comes from the latest issue of Famitsu, in an interview with director Tetsuya Takahashi. It would have been a longer epilogue, he explained, but the compromise would have been adding it as a paid DLC and affecting the “development of new titles.” In addition, Takahashi provided details about the process of remastering Xenoblade Chronicles from the Wii for the Switch....
