Update: The post was deleted, and the promotion doesn’t seem to have been honored. It appears that Blizzard will be rewarding players who reach level 60 in the Classic version of World of Warcraft with a free upgrade to the Battle for Azeroth expansion and a level 110 boost for a character. The news appeared briefly in relation to the fifteenth anniversary of the game, but has since been deleted. This was likely leaked too far ahead of an official announcement and may appear again in the near future....

Obsidian Entertainment’s newest game, The Outer Worlds, looks like the best Bethesda game we’ve seen since 2015’s Fallout 4 - and Bethesda had nothing to do with it. The Outer Worlds capitalizes on the Bethesda structure of great open-world RPG gameplay and deep side quests, thrusting it into a world covered in an intergalactic sci-fi aesthetic. Although the game is currently out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the best way to play Outer Worlds might not be available until 2020 when it’s released on the Nintendo Switch....

WWO Partners has lassoed a release date for upcoming online cowboy-’em-up Wild West Online, confirming the game will launch in full via Steam on May 10. You won’t have to wait until then to play the game however, as it’s currently available in Early Access. Blizzard has detailed World of Warcraft’s next expansion, Dragonflight, which will be taking adventurers on a journey to the long-lost Dragon Isles, and introducing a new playable race-class hybrid and flyable dragons along the way. Additionally, the developer has confirmed 2008’s Wrath of the Lich King expansion will come to World of Warcraft Classic later this year. First, Dragonflight, which grants access to the long-hidden ancestral home of dragonkind, the Dragon Isles, recently reawakened following a period of calamity for Azeroth....

We all know that World of Warcraft Classic – the recreation of the MMORPG as it was at launch – is coming this August. Now we have also learned when users can experience some action before the actual release. Blizzard has announced the WoW Classic pre-launch test, which will begin August 8 at 11:00 a.m. PT. The new Xbox Series X is going to “virtually eliminate” loading times, says Microsoft. The statement came following the unveiling of the Xbox Series X at the Game Awards 2019.
