WWE has been on a signing spree of late, locking up talent ahead of AEW’s main launch on TNT this October. Earlier this week, the company announced that it has re-signed its face, confirming a multi-year contract extension with Roman Reigns. Reigns, 34, has been the centerpiece of WWE television since John Cena became a part-time wrestler in order to pursue a movie career. Terms of the deal, including the length, were not disclosed but multiple media outlets have reported that it’s a multi-year extension for Reigns....

Earlier this month, Yakuza: Like a Dragon received a release date that meant the Xbox Series X would get some exclusive access. Yakuza: Like a Dragon was set for the launch day of Xbox Series X on November 10 and three days later on PC and other systems. Now, Sega has announced that all versions of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, excluding PS5, will launch on November 10. Veteran Sega developer and creator of the Yakuza series Toshihiro Nagoshi could be leaving the company for a new role at NetEase, according to reports. A report from Bloomberg (via Kotaku) claims that Nagoshi-san is yet to sign a final contract, but is in “final negotiations” according to their source. The report claims that, if hired, Nagoshi is likely to “run a semi-autonomous studio” within the company. According to speculation, NetEase are making the play for him in order to compete with rival Tencent....

Official Critical Role merchandise at Hot Topic that had been previously discovered by various enthusiastic Critters is now officially available for sale in stores and online in the U.S. and Canada. Microsoft announces that several high profile indie games will be coming to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Some games, such as city builder Cities: Skylines, had been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass for PC in September 2019, but there are several new reveals too. A new video posted to the official Xbox YouTube channel confirms that Xbox Game Pass subscribers have 13 new games to look forward to. Among them are Banjo-Kazooie style game Yooka-Laylee, cosmic point and click adventure game Genesis Noir, and prison RPG The Escapists 2....

Xenoblade Chronicles will be re-released as Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch, as announced in the Nintendo Direct yesterday. Nintendo has delayed the release of its Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Collector’s Edition for the UK and the EU until September. So, after the game’s launch which, in case you missed it, is 29th July. The company cited “unforeseen logistical challenges” as the reason for this delay, before going on to apologise for any inconvenience this decision may have caused. However, all is far from lost. If you had your heart set on this Collector’s Edition of the game, you will obvisouly still have the chance to purchase Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on its release....
