Xbox One’s forthcoming Windows 10 user interface offers up to 50 per cent faster performance, according to head of Xbox Phil Spencer. In an interview with Giant Bomb, Spencer spoke about about the improvements coming to the dashboard. “For us the Xbox UI focussed, my push within team was all about performance, because there are just certain things in the dash that are too slow. And I’m basically on my Xbox every night, and then, so, I wanted to one: keep you close to the game, and allow you to do things, finding your friends, matchmaking as quickly as possible....

A new Xenoblade Chronicles 2 trailer was shown off during Nintendo’s E3 Spotlight showcase. We’ll drop the trailer in here as soon as it’s on Youtube. In it, we saw some gameplay of the Switch exclusive, as well as some proper Northern English voices, chuck. And potentially the most important announcement from this was a release window. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be released at the holiday season in 2017.

Bitcoin is one of the most popular cryptocurrencies out there right now. It was introduced a few years ago and was basically worthless at the time, but its current value is now in the thousands. For instance, at the time of this writing, 1 Bitcoin is equal to $14373.00 USD. Of course, that’s pretty insane. The increase in the currency’s value has made using it to purchase goods rather expensive. As a result, Valve has decided to crack down on Bitcoin users and no longer supports it on Steam....

With Resident Evil being one of Capcom’s biggest franchises, it’s no surprise that the company has tried its hand at numerous spinoff games in the past. Not all of these spinoffs have been successful, and in fact, some of them have been outright critically panned. However, one Resident Evil spinoff series did prove quite popular. Released in the early 2000s, Resident Evil Outbreak and Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 earned decent review scores and had some good ideas that resonated with fans, but Capcom hasn’t released a new entry in the Outbreak sub series in 15 years....

No, we’re not kidding about that headline at all. This isn’t some hoax that starts off your New Year on the wrong foot. It seems WWE 2K20 has its own version of the “Y2K bug,” one which causes crashes if it detects that the current year is 2020. The issue was made public by Twitter user @TheShiningDown: hey #WWE2K #WWE2K20 players! crashing when trying to create anything? crashing when entering the Originals menu?...

WWE 2K20 will be getting some new content in the form of more Originals content, which is known as Wasteland Wanderers. As suggested by the name, the content brings to WWE 2K20 a host of post-apocalyptic-themed features and items that evoke classic post-apocalyptic properties like Mad Max and Fallout. The Wasteland Wanderers Originals DLC includes a host of new appearances for wrestlers like Dave Batista, Seth Rollins (or Seth the Wanderer in the DLC), and Samoa Joe....

YouTuber Logan Paul has wasted $3.5m on fake Pokémon cards. Last month the influencer boasted about “dropping” the cash on what he believed was a “sealed & authenticated box of 1st Edition Pokémon cards”. Turns out though, once they arrived, they were in fact GI Joe cards - worth significantly less. Paul shared the news on his YouTube channel, beginning: “This story is fucking crazy. And it sucks. I have said it before, and I will more than likely say it again, but The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild really is the gift that keeps on giving. Despite being out for several years, the Zelda community is still finding countless weird and wonderful ways to approach the game - the most recent of which being a completion of every shrine within the game without using any of the runes on the Sheikah Slate....

Today Marvelous Entertainment and Xseed Games announced a new zombie crafting game titled Deadcraft. The game is developed by Marvelous First Studio, which you may know for creating Daemon X Machina. The game puts the player in the role of a half-human half-zombie (don’t ask me how that works, I don’t know and I likely don’t really want to know) who can pretty literally craft zombies and use them as weapons....

Xbox is celebrating Black History Month with a number of initiatives. Those initiatives are both industry and consumer facing, supporting the Black community and providing visibility.
